2) Weir Type Piston Operated Reverse Acting Valves ( Air-to-Open , Spring-to-close)
When it is desirable to close the valves in case of a failure in the supply of
operating pressure , this type of valve is recommended. Actuators are supplied in 2
kgf/cm2 and 4 kgf/cm2 operating Pressure.
3) Weir Type Piston Operated Direct Acting Valves ( Spring-to-Open , Air-to-close)
When it is desirable to open the valve in case of a failure in the supply of operating
pressure , this type of valve is recommended .
4) Weir Type Piston Operated Double Acting Valves ( Air-to-Open , Air-to-Close )
Being a springless Type valve , the double acting valve is much more compact than
the reverse acting valve. This type of valve may serve as either a normal open type or
a normal closed type valve depending on the control scheme .
5) Straight Way Type Handwheel Operated Valves
The hand wheel operated valve has the usual features of the weir type diaphragm
valve plus the features of the sluice valves . When fully opened , it froms a straight -
transfer passage as in a pipeline.
